This course covers ten (10) hours of courses, required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), that apply toward 10-hour Construction Industry course completion card. This module is comprised of 12 sections, covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established by OSHA.

OSHA recommends a Training Program as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of their job.

What are the benefits of this course? This course provides the key and vital information to recognize and to respond to hazards on the construction site.

In some areas (New York, CT, Missouri) the OSHA 10 Hour Construction course is mandatory for anyone is working on a public works. Other companies require their employees to have their 10 hour card.

What do I get when I pass the course? If you successfully complete the course and complete the end of course survey, you will receive an  Wallet Card from the Department of Labor in 4 to 6 weeks recognizing the successful completion of the appropriate course.

How is my course completion reported? The reporting department will send a report to OSHA with the survey results and course completion scores.

What does the course cover? This course is designed for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors, and anyone involved in the construction industry.

OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.

Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA construction safety and health 10-hour course completion card from the Department of Labor.

End of Course Instructions    You must fill out the survey at the end of the course in order to receive your official DOL (Department of Labor) card, 4-6 weeks later.

 If you do not complete the OSHA mandated course survey within three (3) months of completion, you cannot be issued a OSHA DOL card. If the 3 months has elapsed, you will be required to purchase the course again and retake the course from the beginning. If you are purchasing this course for you employee, please make them aware of this requirement.
