I retired after 40 years in industry. During my career, I served in a variety of management positions at various levels and disciplines. During the past 25 years my focus has been the elimination of accidental loss to people, property, process, and the environment through the creation and implementation of safety systems and procedures

As the Safety Leader for a multi-facility sector, I lead the sector's transition to a controlled organization that achieved world class results in total loss control and was recognized by OSHA through the VPP STAR Process in all of the facilities in my sector.

I continued a long standing relationship with DNV and serve as a Senior Principal Trainer and Assessor. Through DNV I can provide world class Leadership Training and a complete line of Safety, Health, and Environmental training. All these activities are contracted through DNV.

I formed Essential Safety Systems. Ltd. as a means to provide superior services to industry and businesses at a fair cost with flexibility.

All training reflects the lessons learned over my career both in Industry as a manager and as a Trainer and Assessor for DNV. As a trainer and assessor, I have obtained a wide variety of experience in many types of industry including steel, armed services, food processing, pharmacicals, mining, building material, and other unique operations.

Although each business delivers a different product or service, the leadership concepts are the same and people have the same issues with the same mistakes.

This balance of knowledge and experience gives me the creditability and ability to present the information in an effective and meaningful format.
